Author Alyssa Deuna approached me and asked me to create the cover art for her book, “Unburden & Bloom”. She wanted an illustration of a wilting flower in vibrant and muted autumn colors, to go with the direction she wanted for her book.
The illustration was done in watercolor on hot-pressed paper, and was enhanced digitally through Adobe Photoshop.
